Well, now you know where and what...so this is the who and why. We are a Christian, homeschooling family. Originally from the UK, we settled here in 1997 and became citizens in 2011. As to why, well I am a M.D. and as our family grew, wanted to find the best, affordable food. If you think food in the US is just fine, watch Food Inc. or read anything by Michael Pollan or Joel Salatin. Scary stuff. So here we are, not a truly organic operation, but a holistic, healthy, happy one. Everything is either free ranged, or in large pastures, humanely handled and well fed.
