We raise multiple types pf poultry for eggs, meat and entertainment. We find this to be relatively easy , if smelly. Our biggest issue is that the resident raccoon population has a taste for free range birds...highly discriminating raccoons. We have started trapping and the problem is reduced. Also, our dogs have had to stay out overnight, which has proved a great deterrent.
